A Wearable Device Using Vision-Based Tactile Sensors to Detect Object Firmness

This patent presents a wearable vision-based tactile sensing device for estimating object firmness through physical interaction. The system captures deformation/palpation data when the sensor contacts fruits, legumes, or vegetables. A machine learning model processes tactile data to provide non-destructive firmness assessment for agricultural quality evaluation.

We propose a wearable thumb-mounted tactile device for non-destructive fruit firmness estimation directly on trees. The system captures vision-based tactile deformation during natural palpation. It enables field-deployable, AI-powered fruit quality assessment.
Vision Transformer and Language Model Based Radiology Report Generation

This work explores automated radiology report generation from chest X-ray images using vision transformers and language models. It combines visual understanding with natural language generation for medical AI applications. The paper represents an important foundation of my work in AI for healthcare and biomedical image analysis.
